Hope for the future?

There are perhaps 12,000 Penan living in Sarawak, mainly in the North-Eastern areas. They were all nomadic for thousands of years deep in the undisturbed rainforest.

We hope that the settlement at Long Siang and the resources and training that are being introduced will be a 'seedbed' for demonstrating practical and sustainable development for the wider community.
